This page is an integration of the processes used by Sussex Wardrobes and our suppliers.
All timber and timber-based raw materials (MFC, MDF, hardboard) used are FSC or PEFC certified. This ensures all of our wood-based products are manufactured using timber that supports sustainable and responsible forestry. The panels used for our sliding doors are made by the company, Egger. Egger are committed to sustainability and 86% of all materials used in their products are made of renewable raw materials.
All of the paint used by Sussex Wardrobes is water based. Along with being kinder to the environment, we are able to provide a superior finish with water based paint. Another important benefit is that there is far less odour in your bedroom.
"Our fleet of vehicles used for logistics purposes and material handling onsite, are managed by effective route planning, a progressive vehicle renewal policy, and route/fuel usage monitoring. We are continually seeking to further reduce the environmental impact of its fleet, and is already committed to replacing its vehicles with updated, fuel-efficient, and operationally optimised versions."
