What's involved and what isn't

A site survey is essential for any renovation or home improvement project. It's one of the first jobs on the list and requires some very careful measuring, checking for uneven surfaces due to subsidence. We often come across similar issues, although for different reasons, in new build homes and loft conversions. We see it all the time and with careful planing, we are able to work with these factors.

It's also very important to mention what isn't involved in our surveys. As a responsible business, we need to make it clear that, as with all interior design surveys, we are not structural surveyors. We are not here to plan the removal of walls or make any structural changes to buildings. All of this work must be undertaken by a qualified professional before our work begins.
